Eric Lampaert (Lamb Pear)
Eric Lampaert is incredibly talented and humble. Traveling the World as a comedian, actor, writer & director.
You may have seen him in various places, maybe live on stage, in movies, on BBC, HBO, Netflix, Comedy Central, or maybe outside your bedroom window when the moon is full, you might just see his gargantuan glistening gums sparkle in the darkness.
He studied at École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris & Theatre Arts at Middlesex University in London, so he can recite Shakespeare in two languages, but he can’t change a tyre.
Eric has performed stand up around the world. Unless you’re a Flat Earther and then, get off this website and watch a life feed from the International Space Station. Live from the ISS
He’s performed at the Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, the Johannesburg Comedy Festival, several solo shows at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, he has supported Eddie Izzard (in English and French), performed a theatre run of his solo show in London & Paris, and won the ComediHa Best International Comedian Award in Quebec, so when you tweet him saying he isn’t funny, he doesn’t care.
His movie credits include Valerian & The City of a Thousand Planets, Moonwalkers, Stoner Express & two upcoming features in 2019; Anna directed by Luc Besson & The Show written by the Alan Moore!
“Delightfully Weird.” – TIME OUT
“Provides a constant frisson of energy with sparky, thoughts about international traits, learning foreign languages and even touching on mental illness with his loose, animated style.” – CHORTLE
“He makes it look so easy but this is a man with very funny bones. Definitely one to catch.” – DAILY EXPRESS
“Quirky with an eye for the absurd and a couple of near-Izzardian flourishes… Energy is such that it’s almost osmotic.” – THE STAGE
